Family Life Services - Family Life Services has received a grant of more than $52,000 from the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania to expand services from a new Montersville office.
A $52,700 grant — from the Williamsport Leaking Community Fund and the Walter J. Helm Fund of the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania — is being used to pay for capital costs associated with the development of the new counseling center and to provide training for five therapists. In Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Trauma Therapy to enhance client service in new areas, says Rita Couso, executive director of Family Life Services.

Annually, Family Life Services - Upper Susquehanna, which has on-site programs to provide school-based mental health services at both Williamsport middle and high schools, serves more than 2,100 people.
